Botched Ink® Brow Correction & Saline Removal
Are you looking to fix, correct, or remove your microbladed or permanent makeup eyebrows?
Whether your brows are too dark, oversaturated, uneven, have changed colour, or you simply have tattoo regret, Botched Ink® saline removal can help.
What Is Botched Ink® Saline Removal?
Botched Ink® is an advanced, high-potency saline solution designed to gently lift unwanted tattoo pigment from the skin. The solution closely matches the skin’s natural pH, making it gentle while still effective.
The treated skin dries quickly, and pigment within that skin dries with it — allowing the body to naturally lift and release the pigment during healing.
Bonus: Healing scabs appear shades of brown, often making brows look better during healing.
- Corrects colour changes (grey, red, ashy)
- Lightens dark or saturated brows
- Corrects unwanted shapes
- Prepares brows for new PMU

Emergency Removal for Bad Eyebrow Microblading or Eyebrow Tattoo Removal
Available within 72 hours of your original brow appointment
Did you just get your brows done and now you’re searching things like “bad eyebrow tattoo,” “bad microblading,” or “how to remove new eyebrows”?
If your eyebrow tattoo or microblading was done within the last 72 hours, emergency saline removal may be able to help — but timing is everything.
Emergency saline removal is a time-sensitive treatment designed to help remove or significantly reduce fresh eyebrow tattoo pigment before it fully settles into the skin. Early treatment can make a huge difference when brows are too dark, uneven, blocky, or simply not what you asked for.
Why Acting Within 72 Hours Matters
Fresh eyebrow tattoo pigment has not yet fully anchored into the skin. When emergency saline removal is done as soon as possible, it can:
Prevent pigment from fully settling
Reduce how dark the brows heal
Improve symmetry and softness
Help avoid months (or years) of living with brows you hate
Reduce the need for multiple future removal sessions
Once the 72-hour window passes, pigment stabilizes and standard saline removal is required instead.
IMPORTANT NOTE
This service is time-sensitive and limited. Availability depends on how recently your brows were done and the condition of your skin.
Clear photos and the date/time of your original brow appointment are required for assessment.

How Botched Ink® Saline Removal Works
Step 1 – Brow Assessment
We begin with a detailed consultation to understand:
Your brow history
How old the tattoo is
Whether pigment is saturated or deeply implanted
What you want fixed, corrected, or removed
At this stage, we discuss whether your goal is:
Complete removal
Lightening for correction
Preparation for new brows
This helps you clearly understand the process before committing.
Step 2 - Saline Removal Treatment
During the treatment:
Botched Ink® saline solution is carefully worked into the brow area
The solution begins drying the skin and pigment almost immediately
Mild stinging may be felt briefly toward the end, then fades
The solution causes minimal inflammation, which means the healing process is usually very calm and uneventful.
Step 3 – Healing & Pigment Lift
After treatment:
The area dries and forms a light scab
Pigment becomes trapped in the scab
As the scab naturally sheds, pigment lifts with it
It’s completely normal for pigment to:
Look darker before it gets lighter
Shift in colour temporarily
Continue changing over several weeks
This is all part of the skin’s natural healing process.
Step 4 – Multiple Sessions & Results
Tattoo removal is a process — Botched Ink® is no exception.
Although some clients see noticeable improvement after one session, most clients see the best results after 2–3 sessions.
We recommend mentally and financially committing to a course of 3 – 4 treatments, as this allows us to:
-
Assess how easily your pigment is lifting
-
Respond to how your skin heals
-
Adjust the plan as needed
While we can’t guarantee an exact number of sessions, you’ll always know what to expect and why — this clarity helps clients feel confident throughout the process.

Saline Brow Removal & Emergency Brow microblading Removal – FAQs
Saline brow removal is a non-laser method used to lighten or remove unwanted eyebrow tattoos and microblading. A saline solution is applied to the skin, helping draw pigment out during the body’s natural healing process.
Saline solution does not instantly erase tattoos, but it can effectively lighten or remove cosmetic tattoo pigment over time. As the treated skin heals, pigment is lifted and released naturally. This method is especially suited for eyebrow tattoos and microblading.
Yes. Saline removal is commonly used for bad eyebrow tattoos, including brows that are too dark, uneven, blocky, oversaturated, or no longer suit your face.
Saline removal can significantly improve or lighten bad microblading, especially when pigment is too dark, saturated, or has changed colour over time. Multiple sessions may be required depending on pigment depth and skin response.
Most clients see improvement after 2–4 sessions, but the number of treatments varies based on pigment depth, colour, saturation, age of the tattoo, and skin healing response. No removal method can guarantee an exact number of sessions.
Initial healing usually takes 7–14 days, during which a light scab forms and sheds naturally. Pigment continues to settle and fade over several weeks, which is why treatments are typically spaced 6–8 weeks apart.
Brows may appear darker at first and then form a light scab. Pigment lifts as the scab naturally sheds. Colour continues to soften and settle over the following weeks. Picking scabs can affect results and should be avoided.
When performed correctly and when aftercare is followed, saline tattoo removal has a low risk of scarring. Picking scabs, over-treating the area, or not following aftercare can increase risks.
Saline removal uses a hypertonic saline solution that dries the treated skin and pigment. As the skin heals, dried pigment becomes trapped in the scab and is lifted out as the scab naturally sheds.
To start off we use topical numbing to numb the brow area, so most clients don’t feel the initial work. Once the solution starts penetrating the into deeper layers of the skin most clients describe a mild to moderate stinging sensation, similar to or less intense than getting brows tattooed. Any discomfort is temporary.
For cosmetic brow tattoos, saline removal is often preferred because it does not use heat and is less likely to cause strong colour changes like red, pink, or orange brows.
Yes. Many clients use saline removal to prepare their brows for new powder or nano brows once the skin has fully healed.
Yes. We offer saline brow removal in Pickering, Ontario, and welcome clients from Ajax, Whitby, Scarborough, and the Durham Region.
Emergency saline removal is a time-sensitive treatment performed within 72 hours of a fresh eyebrow tattoo or microblading to help reduce or prevent pigment from fully settling into the skin.
Yes. If your brows were tattooed or microbladed within the last 24–72 hours, emergency saline removal may significantly improve the outcome by lifting pigment before it stabilizes.
Emergency saline removal does not guarantee complete removal, but it can dramatically lighten pigment, reduce darkness, and help prevent long-term issues.
Yes. This is one of the most common reasons clients seek emergency removal. Early treatment can prevent brows from healing overly dark or harsh.
Emergency saline removal can help soften and reduce pigment, making future correction or reshaping much easier.
For freshly tattooed brows, saline removal is usually recommended first. Laser can cause damage to skin which is already compromised from the previous “bad” microblading / tattoo session. While saline removal gently lifts pigment without heat.
Once the emergency window passes, pigment stabilizes and standard saline removal is required instead, usually over multiple sessions.
Because this service is time-sensitive, please contact us immediately. Send a clear photo of your brows along with the date and time of your original appointment so we can advise you quickly. Text us with the words “Emergency Removal”
Laser Brow Removal vs Botched Ink® Saline Removal
If you’re considering removing or correcting unwanted eyebrow tattoos, you may be wondering whether laser removal or saline removal is the better option. While both methods have their place, starting with Botched Ink® saline removal is often the safest first step for eyebrows — especially for cosmetic tattoo pigment.
Why Laser Removal Can Be Risky for Eyebrow Tattoos
Laser tattoo removal works by breaking pigment down using heat. While this can be effective for body tattoos, cosmetic brow pigment behaves very differently under laser.
With eyebrow tattoos, laser removal can:
Turn brows red, pink, or orange
Leave you with strong colour shifts that take months (or years) to fade
Require multiple laser sessions before the colour becomes neutral enough to correct
Make brows more difficult to work with afterward
Many brow pigments contain warm undertones (red, yellow, orange). When laser hits these pigments, black and dark tones are removed first, often revealing the warm colours underneath — which is why people are sometimes left walking around with bright red brows for an extended period of time.
This is one of the most common issues we see from clients who start with laser first.
Why Botched Ink® Is Often the Better First Step
Botched Ink® saline removal works very differently.
Instead of heat, it uses a gentle saline solution to lift pigment out of the skin during the body’s natural healing process.
Because of this, Botched Ink®:
Does not cause pigment colour shock
Does not turn brows red or orange
Gradually lifts pigment instead of forcing colour changes
Allows you to live your life normally while healing
Keeps the skin in better condition for future correction or laser if needed
In fact, many professionals recommend saline removal first, even if laser may be considered later. By lifting and reducing pigment with Botched Ink®, you minimize the risk of severe colour changes if laser is ever required.
Why We Often Recommend Botched Ink® Before Laser
For many clients in Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Scarborough, and the Durham Region, the biggest concern is not just removal — it’s how their brows will look during the process.
Starting with Botched Ink® helps:
Reduce pigment safely before introducing laser
Avoid being stuck with red or orange brows for long periods
Make any future laser sessions more predictable
Protect the delicate skin of the eyebrow area
In many cases, Botched Ink® alone is enough, and laser is never needed.
